Call to Prayer

Gracious God,
I am tempted to think only of myself today. Humble me, O Lord,
That my posture would be one of selflessness, Of sacrifice,
Of generosity,
Of joy.
Be near me, O Lord. Amen.

my eyes are not raised too high;

too great and too marvelous for me.
But I have calmed and quieted my soul,
