Day 46

Call to Prayer

I don’t know what to say. Give me the words. I am distracted by worry. Give me rest.
I feel like a failure. Give me Jesus.
He is sufficient, and even now,
Is seated with you, interceding on my behalf. Give me ears to hear. Amen.

Psalm 32:8–11

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding,
which must be curbed with bit and bridle,
or it will not stay near you.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked,
but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD.
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, O righteous,
and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

Prayer of Response

Lord, remind us that the resurrection is true. If Christ was not raised, we are to be greatly pitied, but we know that he was raised! We know that Christ is still moving and drawing people to himself. Let us not grow weary in proclaiming Him. Give us wisdom, hope, and boldness. Amen.

Prayers of Supplication

For those who have given up on the church.
For unity of churches in Lexington.
