Day 35
Call to Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the Kingdom and the power and glory forever. Amen.
from Matthew 6:9-13
Silence
Psalm 47:1–4
Clap your hands, all peoples!
Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared,
a great king over all the earth.
He subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
He chose our heritage for us,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves.
Read Acts 13:13-52
Prayer of Response
Lord, you are our defender. You are the keeper of justice. Let us not be overcome by our enemies, and let us not depend upon our own strength. We long to give you all glory and honor. And, we ask that your Word would increase and multiply in our hearts, our church, our neighborhood, and in our city. Fill us with joy and with your Holy Spirit! In Christ’s name, amen.
Prayers of Supplication
For rest.
For boldness to share the gospel.
For my neighbors.
