Day 15

Call to Prayer

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the Kingdom and the power and glory forever. Amen.

from Matthew 6:9-13

Silence

Psalm 106:1–12

Praise the LORD!
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!
Who can utter the mighty deeds of the LORD,
or declare all his praise?
Blessed are they who observe justice,
who do righteousness at all times!
Remember me, O LORD, when you show favor to your people;
help me when you save them,
that I may look upon the prosperity of your chosen ones,
that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation,
that I may glory with your inheritance.

Read Acts 5:17-42

Prayer of Response

God. Reorder our hearts unto obedience, that we would not seek the approval of man but you. We live in the reality of Christ’s resurrection, and the Holy Spirit is moving in and around us. When we feel overthrown, restore to us the joy of who you are — that you are God! Even when we suffer, let us rejoice and continue to proclaim the good news. In the name of Jesus, amen.

Prayers of Supplication

For boldness to speak truth.
For those we are resistant to the gospel.
For one person in your life to receive Christ.
For the artists in our church and city
